2018 CALENDAR OF EVENTS

SATURDAY, APRIL 7TH, 2018

10:30am – Willson Park, Bedford MA

Liberty Pole Capping ceremony consisting of colonial troops from throughout New England parading from Bedford Common to Willson Park.

A Bedford Minuteman will climb the pole and, in defiance of King George, place a red cap on top.
British Redcoats will attempt to arrest the pole climber!
The British Commander will admonish the colonists for their rebellious behaviors!

A collation will follow ceremony at the Bedford High School Cafeteria.

SATURDAY, APRIL 7TH, 2018

1:00pm – Meriam’s Corner, Concord MA
Meriam’s Corner Exercise with the Bedford Flag leading the parade.

MONDAY, APRIL 16TH, 2018

7:00am – Bedford Minutemen leave Willson Park for the march to Concord.
9:00am – Bedford Minutemen march in the Concord parade with the Bedford Flag leading the way.
2:00pm – Bedford Minutemen march in the Lexington parade.
